Dr. Romi Carvajal

Dr. Romi was one of those kids that wanted to be a veterinarian since she knew the meaning of the word, to the point that “doglover” was attached to her name throughout her formative years. Her favorite part of being a vet is forming long lasting relationships with her beloved patients and their parents, and working together to tailor the best medical practices to suit each family’s needs. She is grateful every day to live the manifestation of her childhood dream.

Education

Dr. Romi completed her undergraduate studies in Microbiology at Auburn University and graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017. She is fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
Dr. Romi is a certified veterinary acupuncturist and loves to employ all the tools in her medical toolbox to maintain and restore health in her patients.

Hobbies

During her free time, Dr. Romi, her husband, and their coonhound, Echo Charles, love to take advantage of their beautiful surroundings by hiking, biking, paddle-boarding, road-tripping, and camping. And no morning is complete without a good yoga flow! They also love traveling abroad and exploring the incredible US National Parks.

Dr. Romi is very excited to be a part of the incredible team at Animal Care Group of Lake Oswego and hopes to meet you and your fur-babies soon!
