Dr. Greysi Tavarez

With Parkway Veterinary Hospital since 2020

Dr. Greysi was born in the Dominican Republic and raised in New York. Like many veterinarians, she knew she wanted to work with animals from a very young age. She completed her undergraduate studies at New York University with a degree in Biology and pursued her passion for veterinary medicine at St. George’s University. She then went on to complete a rotating internship in small animal medicine at Georgia Veterinary Specialists in Atlanta. Throughout her undergraduate and graduate studies, Dr. Greysi participated in multiple veterinary-related volunteer programs in the United States and abroad. A nature lover at heart, she’s always had an attraction to the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest and moved to Oregon shortly after completing her internship. In the veterinary field, she is most interested in internal medicine, preventative medicine, and the intricacies of the human-animal bond. Dr. Greysi is bilingual in Spanish and shares her home with a happy-go-lucky pitbull, Sawyer, and her beloved orange tabby, Ringo. Outside of work, she enjoys photography, gardening, hiking with her canine companion and traveling.
