Pet of the Month – Winston

This cute fellow is Winston. Winston was recently brought in for a health check after being missing for three days! His owners who live on a house boat came home to find their side door open and Winston no where to be found. They spent the next three days posting flyers, visiting shelters and searching the local area. On the third day, his owner heard a whimpering noise after he jumped onto a float connecting their houseboat to the dock. There on two logs lay Winston in partially submerged water. He had somehow managed to keep himself afloat. A thorough examination revealed a few minor wounds on his chin, but no other major problems. He is happy to be home and back on dry land. For being so brave in the face of such odds, we would like to congratulate you on being this month’s Pet of the Month.
